It is old time roots music week at Club Possum!
Take some good ole fashioned family harmony and some hot banjo and guitar picking and you’ve got the super-entertaining group of Love Holler. Father Stacey plays the doghouse bass and sings while Emma and Caroline, his twin girls harmonize and yodel some great down home tunes. If you’ve got a fever for some good ole down home roots music, the Love Holler is a sure fire cure.
5 South features the Spickes family plus Little Page Simpson on the mandolin and dobro. Kaylee Spickes is a former state fiddle champion and just gets better each year. Her brothers are all amazingly talented teenagers in their respective instruments. This all teenager band plays old time music reminiscent of that time long past.
Admission is free. Please tip the musicians generously. Popcorn, soft drinks, and other refreshments available for purchase.
