Learn the 2500 year old tradition from Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North Africa of weaving narrow decorative bands. These bands have dozens of uses, including dog leashes or collars, belts, straps for bags, suspenders, hat bands, guitar straps, book marks, jewelry, shoelaces, or decoration on clothing. Tablet weaving in inexpensive and portable. It can be done with or without a small loom, and uses cards, or “tablets” to raise and lower the warp threads to create an endless variety of beautiful designs.

In this class you will learn to make a continuous warp, weave several different patterns, read a pattern draft, and design your own patterns.

Class is $60 per person. Materials are included.
